developed for colleges in association with teachers
A college can benefit from the security that TerminatorX delivers by:

TerminatorX was designed in consultation with lecturing staff at a UK
Adult Education College. There were problems with students in the 16 to
25 age group. They were running KaZaA, MSN Messenger and games during classes
when they should have been doing their college work. Due to the classroom
configuration in some of the
rooms, the teachers were unable see all of the workstation screens
simultaneously.
The students flicked the offending applications to and from the screen using 'Alt-Tab' and so gave the appearance of working on their college work. After a few high profile prosecutions hit the headlines, the college staff contacted Warren Software for a solution.
Warren Software designed TerminatorX to run invisibly on the college's workstations examining the programs and web sites being used. Those that matched a blocked list (pre-selected by the network manager) were closed down within seconds of starting up.
Warren Software created TerminatorX so that groups of users could be treated differently and, for example, college staff were still allowed to use Messengers etc. for legitimate college work.
As TerminatorX was created specifically with educational institutions in mind, its
price was set to allow colleges to easily purchase TerminatorX.
The licensing terms allow flexibility -it does not depend on the number of servers or workstations in a college. The Site license covers an area:
Site license - an unlimited number of workstations on an unlimited number of servers within a single organisation. The workstations must be enclosed within a circle of diameter 200 metres. Each license covers one such circle. More than one license is required if your organisation wishes to use TerminatorX on workstations that are not within a single such area.
You can use TerminatorX across a whole site (200 metre diameter) for just £200
