Problems uninstalling TerminatorX

Which one of the following applies to you:

• “I did not install TerminatorX - I am just getting an annoying pop-up message”

  Only the person that installed TerminatorX on your computer can remove it. You should contact them and let them know that the pop-up messages are appearing.

• “I know my password, but can't find any uninstaller program”

  Please run Uninstaller.exe in the folder (normally C:\TX ) which the Setup program created when you ran the downloaded trial file.
   
  If you have removed the folder, you can obtain a copy of Uninstaller.exe from here.

• “I have tried uninstalling and got a password error - even though I am sure of my password.”

  Please proceed as though you had forgotten it and use the next section below.

• “I have forgotten my password and not made a note of it”

  To retrieve your password so that you can change the TerminatorX installation settings or uninstall TerminatorX from a computer, you will need to:
  

   

  • Download RetrievePassword.exe and run it on the computer on which you installed TerminatorX.
     
  • The program will create a file in your c: drive called C:\TerminatorXFile.TXP
     
  • Attach the TerminatorXFile.TXP file to an email and send it to .

    
    Include in the email as much as you can remember about

    • your password
    • your secret question
    • your secret answer
    If you have already purchased TerminatorX, please include the order number.
     
  • We will then remind you of your secret question and ask you for the secret answer
     
  • If you give the correct answer we will send you your password. If not, we will email you saying that we cannot help.

• “I have uninstalled TerminatorX but still keep getting the messages telling me that the trial is over.”.

  If you are still getting the messages, then you have not fully uninstalled TerminatorX.
   
  Run the uninstaller again, but this time select the “completely remove TerminatorX from the computer” option. This will remove the messages.
